Reasons why this post is stupid:
- You are tokenizing your friends who are gay. You are saying that because one lesbian and one gay man appear to find your joke amusing, that makes any kind of statement about your right to say that word. It doesn’t.
- You are implying that gay people who dislike hearing the word (like me!) , especially when used by straight people, are somehow less worthy of an opinion than gay people who go along with your joke.
- Why would you want to use a word that’s used to oppress people? Why would you want to use a word that people scream as they’re beating people to death?
- Saying “faggot” isn’t even funny. Get a new joke. Be creative. If you’re that bad at being funny, then give up on trying to be humorous because you have an awful sense of humor.
- Really you’re not funny.
- Also you’re an ass.
#also ‘normal person’ being separate from ‘gay guy’ and ‘lesbian’ #fuck you
Faggot is my least favourite word, the sound of it pangs me.

“I created this series of photos in response to Iran’s president Ahmadinejad’s naive comments that we do not have homosexuality in Iran. I wanted to say that we do have homosexuals and we have lots of them. My hope was to give solace to Muslims who feel they cannot be Muslims and homosexuals at the same time. I wanted to say that your love for God or belief in good for humanity should not determine who you’re choosing to love. My hope is that more people come to see that we should leave people to make their own choices, regarding who they want to love. I think the message of love from all of the prophets was lost, in all the noise from the later organizers of religions and their followers. I wish to remind people of that original intention of our belief in a higher good.”

This Novemember 20th is Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hate and prejudice. The event is held in November to honor Rita Hester, whose murder on November 28th, 1998 kicked off the “Remembering Our Dead” web project and a San Francisco candlelight vigil in 1999. Rita Hester’s murder — like most anti-transgender murder cases — has yet to be solved.
The Transgender Day of Remembrance serves several purposes. It raises public awareness of hate crimes against transgender people, an action that current media doesn’t perform. Day of Remembrance publicly mourns and honors the lives of our brothers and sisters who might otherwise be forgotten. Through the vigil, we express love and respect for our people in the face of national indifference and hatred. Day of Remembrance reminds non-transgender people that we are their sons, daughters, parents, friends and lovers. Day of Remembrance gives our allies a chance to step forward with us and stand in vigil, memorializing those of us who’ve died by anti-transgender violence. [tdor.org]
I urge my followers, and the followers of those who may have reblogged this to tint your icon purple on November 20th in honor and support to those who are transgender and to pay respects to those who have passed because they were simply being who they are. I think too often the T is thought of separate from the LGBT, but in reality we are all equal and we are in this life together, side by side.

“I can’t let my kids watch Dancing With The Stars because Chaz Bono is transgender and that is confusing for children.”
HEY ASSCLOWN
YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS CONFUSING FOR KIDS?
- zippers
- buttons
- rain
- where the music on the radio comes from
- math
- how to tie a shoe
- why spongebob goes to the beach even though he lives underwater
- spelling long words
- reading long words
- politics
- michael jackson’s race
- where babies come from
- airplanes
- why sharing is important
- magic
- ventriloquism
- pretty much everything else
i mean, how hard is it to say (provided your kids are smart enough to ask) “Chaz Bono used to be a girl but he went to a special doctor and now he’s a boy”?
Problem solved. You’re welcome, America.

This is very informative. All people who (will) have sex with trans guys should watch this.Good video, cute cat.
Why doesn’t this have more notes?
Very informative. I do want to take note some guys don’t like their genitalia touched at all, so keep that in mind. Again, COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY.
